Visit to Afghanistan

As part of the delegation of Croatian businessmen, led by the President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Nadan Vidosevic, Cluster Manager, Mr. Nikola Pavković, M.A., visited the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
During his stay in Afghanistan Cluster Manager met with Director of General Training and Education Department, Ministry of Interior; Head of NCB Interpol Kabul, and with Programme Director of Mine Action Coordination Centre of Afghanistan (MACCA). Within the Afghanistan-Croatian Economic Forum, contacts were developed with several companies that had shown interest in Croatian products.
Bilateral discussions were exceptionally successful and realisation of preliminary agreed projects is expected.
A visit to Croatian forces in Kabul was organized. Croatian soldiers informed the visitors of the mine action problem and UXO hazard in Afghanistan.
